Nile Creek Fly Shop put on a Spey Casting Clinic and presentation on October 30th 2011 in Qualicum Beach on the Beach itself beside the tourist bureau. It was well attended and the weather was very co-operative...On hand was Val for the ladies and Aidan Darby-Miller for assistance to the younger folk and anyone daring to see him cast. The profound item that really showed it's colours during the event was the Snowbee 12' Diamond Torridge Spey Rod matched with the 400 grain Snowbee Switch Line...SWEEEET!
During the early week-end of October 18 thru October 20th Snowbee and Beulah was represented at the Grand River Spey Clave featuring the new Snowbee Switch rods and Lines...on hand to assist any and all participants was new Field Staff member Craig Brown from nearby KitchenerThe event drew 170 plus persons interested in Spey casting and fishing techniques.
Nile Creek Fly Shop is putting on a day of Fly Casting both single and double handed slated for Saturday July 9th. The Morning sessions will concentrate on Single handed fly casting from 9:30 til 12:00 noon.a fee of $50 will apply to all participants. The afternoon session will focus on Spey Casting techniques and efficiency of casts. A fee of $75 will apply ,scheduled from 1:30 till 5pm

A Spey casting Presentation to interested fly fishers in Sherbrook Quebec on Saturday May 14th and Sunday May 15,this is the second gathering in Sherbrook indicating the need for advanced casting techniques for more enjoyable and successful outings. We will be casting Beulah,Vision and Snowbee rods during the event and have special on teh New Vision Cult Spey Rods and the New Beulah Platinum Series Single,Switch and Spey Rods.
Free Spey Casting Demo and Gathering on Sunday May 8th on the Englishman River at the Boy Scout Run..the event is designed to assist and help those wishing to improve their techniques and abilities with Spey Casts. Presentation begins at 12:30 PM until about 4pm...all are welcome to participate ,bring your waders if you want to play
